Talia Nizarane (b. 1997, Havana) is a visual artist working with performance, installation, and public engaged art. Her work explores the social role of art, the cultural impact of migration, and the effects of climate change in the Global South, informed by cultural and historical dilemmas in Cuba.
Her work has been featured at Parliament, Westminster (2025), and Tate Modern Lates: Beyond Surface, Tactile Presence, London, UK (2023). In 2023, she became the first Cuban to graduate from the Royal College of Art, obtaining a MA Contemporary Art Practice, Public Sphere. She is a member of the British Art Network Working Class and Disability in British Art Research Groups.
